No trembler in the world's storm-troubled sphere
I see Heaven's glories shine
And Faith shines equal arming me from Fear
0 God within my breast
Almighty ever-present Deity
Life, that in me hast rest
As I Undying Life, have power in Thee!"
- Emily Bronte, No Coward Soul is Mine (her last poem)
Well, as I related in this post, I was part of a two-man pancake-stacking team today. This was an event held at a local bank that was holding its grand opening celebration.
I've decided I'm going to quit my job and just go to bank grand openings! It was fun! First, our pancake-stacking skills won us third place and $400 for the GAP (Graduates and Professionals) class at church! But we also rode an elephant, watched a juggler, ate some pancakes and, later, hotdogs, played on some inflatables, and held a monkey!
I love monkeys! This one was a cute little Capuchin monkey named Abbey. Here she is on my daughter Bethany's shoulder.
It was awesome!

Thanks BWS :-)
And I do like the title "Daddy Mack of the Pancake Stack" - cool!
Your daughter has a cool name :D
(and a cool monkey... monkeys always remind me of that capuchin "braking thee lew" on The Pink Panther :D)
Ohhh...Bill. She's so cute. And so is your daugher! lol.
Your daughter really does have pretty eyes!
Oh don't encourage them Bill - they're sickening.
Newlyweds
Why yes... yes I am!
We're so devilishly cute, though.
Except for me. She's cute enough to make even me look good.
Hah.

Yay Bill! You're the Daddy Mack of the Pancake Stack! (I'm feeling silly, can you tell?)
And what beautiful eyes your daughter has!!
