Thankful

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Today was the last day that the student band I work with led worship. It was also my last day as a lay student minister. And it was a great day! I'm so thankful that God allowed me to do this ministry for so long, and I'm excited about the next steps He will take me on.

Below are some pictures from today (taken by my good friend Ashley).

I love you, 249 North Band! Thanks for a great year (and I'm going to really miss you).

I'm really glad that it was a good day for you. I know how it's like you wish you could remember each minute of it with perfect clarity and poignancy, but time keeps on going the same speed and you just want to yell, "Hey! Go slower so I can remember this! You're screwing up my day!" Stupid time.

It was a good day. :) I'm glad I was there.

soo the tears have beeeeen pretty consistent... but i realize at the same time everytime i cry its usually followed by a laugh or an unstoppable smile. This year has brought me so much joy, maturity, hope, encouragement, and i feel so blessed to have been given an opportunity i am so unworthy of.. Gods Grace is soo amazing. It is sooo true that the beauty of Grace is that it makes life not fair...!! this was an experience of a life time. and i will NEVER forget it. look out for new phone numbers and email adresses!!! im getting married one day.. and reliant J better be there!!!! soo much love and like and hugs and everything goood!!!!

It's so great to hear from you! I'm sorry that you are sad. But, as it's been said, not all tears are evil :-) - it's wonderful to have such great memories to cry over and such great people to miss.

And, you know this, of course, I had BETTER get an invitation to your wedding! :-)

you. and the band have been such a blessing to my life and all i did was watch you guys work and mix you a little.i cant wait to look back on the band at the end of this year and see how much my life has changed!

This band was such a treasure. I am so proud to have worked with such a fine group of students. It makes student ministry seem so much worthwhile when you see people "getting" it. Sorry for rambling . . .

This band was awesome. I'll absolutely never forget any of you.
